Access
The saltpans are situated in the saltmarshes. Once you've parked you can easily enter the area walking or cycling and explore every saltpan that is accessible (some are blocked or there is no way to access without getting kneedeep in the mud). In the northern ones you will find ducks such as the Călifar alb, Rață mare and Rață pestriță, whereas closer to the lagoon (sea side) you'll find more waders such as the Fugaci de țărm, Nisipar, Fugaci roșcat, Prundăraș de sărătură, Prundăraș gulerat mare, Culic mic and Piciorong. A bit further way from the access, to the east, it is very common to find groups of Flamingo roz that allow bystanders to get quite close.
