Description
Due to its location on a western cape that juts into the Atlantic Ocean Peniche is one of the best places in Portugal to watch seabird migration. The rocky coast of Peniche is beautiful in itself, but the hundreds of migratory birds make it even more beautiful. Probably the best place in all of Europe to see Cory's Shearwater. Some days thousands of Corb de mare and Pescăruș negricios pass by. The surrounding area is also worth a visit. 308 bird species have already been observed.
