The closed Brzegi gravel pit is mainly a fishing area, but also attracts a lot of birds. Parking is available on site, free admission. Very wet after rains.

Description

Żwirownia Brzegi has a large colony of Pescăruș râzător on the island, and Chiră mică and Chiră de baltă also nest there. The terrain is varied: shrubs, grasses, deciduous trees, ponds. Among the other birds you can encounter are Gâscă egipteană, Vânturel roșu, Ferestraș mare, Lăcar mare, Corcodel cu gât negru and Mugurar.

Access

You can get there by car, convenient parking on site or by bike. Click on the P in the map to get directions. The nearest bus stop is about 1 km away. After rain, the local roads get very muddy. The circular route around the lake is about 2 km long.
