Description
Sosnówka Lake is a retention reservoir and a reservoir for drinking water located in the southern part of the Jelenia Góra Valley. The lake is a good place to watch water birds in winter. The proximity of mountains causes birds to cluster together. For example, a flock of 37 Cufundar polar and 6 Ferestraș moțat were found here. Note that sometimes there are days with few birds.

Sosnówka Lake is located 10 km south of the city of Jelenia Góra. The reservoir is fenced, with no free access. Most of the water surface can be viewed from 4 points. Click on a P in the map for directions to these points.
