Karpinka Bay is located near the marina on the shore of the Kamieniecki Reservoir in the tourist town of Kamień Pomorski. Many species of birds can be observed from the waterfront and pier, often from a close distance. These are mainly gulls: Pescăruș argintiu, Pescăruș negru, Pescăruș pontic, Pescăruș sur, Pescăruș râzător. In addition to the gulls, you can often see Rață mare, Lebădă de vară, Lișiță, Corcodel mare, Ferestraș mic, Ferestraș mare, Rață moțată, Rață sunătoare, Egretă mare, and sometimes rarer species appear, for example: Pescăruș cu cap negru or Cufundar polar. It is quite common to see a hunting Codalb.

The observation site is on the northern waterfront in Kamień Pomorski. There are plenty of parking spaces in the city. Press a P on the map for directions. You can get everywhere on foot or by bike or by watercraft. You can get across the bay to the other side by a footbridge.
