Description
Lake Kierskie is especially interesting in the autumn and winter. Ducks, geese, grebes and loons etc. stop here regularly in pretty good amount. In winter, up to 3,000 gulls spend the night here - mainly: Pescăruș râzător, Pescăruș argintiu, Pescăruș pontic, Pescăruș sur and also a single: Pescăruș cu cap negru, Pescăruș negru, Pescăruș negricios. Quite rare waterfowl for inland are regularly observed, such as: Rață cu cap negru, Rață catifelată, Rață neagră , Corcodel de iarnă, Cufundar mic and Cufundar polar. The lake is a feeding ground for Codalb. Geese spend the night on the reservoir, mainly: Gâscă de vară but also northern geese.

Access
Along the eastern shore there is an asphalt path and several piers from which you can observe birds. The west bank is partially built-up and inaccessible.
