Description
The Jezioro Dominickie lake is of importance for many birds. This 384 hectare reservoir is connected by a system of canals with other nearby lakes. Geese (with a predominance of Gâscă de vară), Lișiță and various species of ducks (including Rață neagră and Rață catifelată), as well as Cufundar mic and Cufundar polar, Corcodel mare, Corcodel cu gât negru, Corcodel de iarnă and Ferestraș mic winter in great numbers. Of the birds of prey, it is not uncommon to see Codalb, sometimes Șoim călător.

Access
Observations are best made from the southern side of the lake (also due to sunlight). An unpaved pedestrian and bicycle path runs along the lake shore.
