The Rammegors is a beautiful nature reserve in the dutch delta. A very nice area for birdwatching and always good for surprises.
The Rammegors, former sludge depot, is a reserve with salt marshes, mud flats, sandbanks and creeks. It arose as a result of the construction of the Scheldt Canal. Nature has been given free rein here. The Rammegors has grown into a rich flora and fauna reserve with grazing horses, cattle, meadow birds, marsh birds, ducks, forest birds and hundreds of geese in winter.

You can walk all the way around the Rammegors (5 km). Over the dike, or underneath. From the Krabbenkreekdam you can look out from your car over the Rammegors. But do this in the afternoon because you have backlight here from morning to early afternoon.
