Description
The Paterswiel is a small pond in the Hertogswetering stream. At the monastery you have an old garden with tall old trees and on the other side also a forest with a lot of water in between. You will encounter many birds in this area in spring and summer. Birds you may encounter include Corcodel mare, Cuc, Barză albă, Egretă mare, Uliu păsărar, Uliu porumbar, Strigă, Pescăraș albastru, Ciocănitoare pestriță mare, Ciocănitoare pestriță mică, Ghionoaie verde, Șoim de iarnă, Șoim călător, Lăcar mic, Cojoaică cu degete scurte, Codobatură galbenă and Cânepar.

Nederlands: Het Paterswiel is kleine waterplas in de Hertochswetering. Bij de paters heb je een oude tuin met hoge oude bomen en aan de andere kant ook een bos waar veel water tussen aanwezig is. Je komt in dit gebiedje veel vogels tegen in het voorjaar en zomer.
