Small reed marsh surrounded by wet forest in Amsterdam.
De Oeverlanden is a nature reserve with rugged nature. The area is a remnant of the original peat landscape. It consists mainly of reed land and marshy forest and is an important habitat for wetland birds such as the Lăcar de stuf, Presură de stuf, Pescăraș albastru, Privighetoare roșcată and Erete de stuf. In the small reed marsh in the forest, you can find bird species like Uliu porumbar, Stufărică, Lăcar mic and Cârstel de baltă.

Nederlands: De Oeverlanden is een natuurgebied in Amsterdam Nieuw-West met ruige natuur. Het gebied is een restant van het oorspronkelijke veenlandschap en één van de natuurkernen in het Amsterdamse Bos. Het bestaat vooral uit rietland en moerasbos en het is een belangrijk leefgebied voor moerasvogels zoals de Lăcar de stuf, Presură de stuf, Privighetoare roșcată, Pescăraș albastru en Erete de stuf. In het kleine rietmoeras in het bos kun je vogelsoorten vinden als Uliu porumbar, Stufărică, Lăcar mic, Cuc en Cârstel de baltă.
Park at the beginning of Bosbaan, then walk from there. Best reached by bicycle. The circular route indicated on the map is about 6,5 km long.
