Description
Neeltje Jans is an artificial island in the province of Zeeland, halfway between Noord-Beveland and Schouwen-Duiveland in the Oosterschelde. After the construction of the dam, various expositions were built on the island, which are now connected to the shore through the dam. A part of the island is a nature reserve. You can encounter surprising bird species on Neeltje Jans. While you take a nice walk along the Oosterschelde and the North Sea coast, you have a good chance of seeing nice bird species and many real 'sea species' such as Alcă atlantică, Alcă nordică, Rață neagră and Lup de mare mic. But also a chance of nice passerines.
