The Lutkemeerpolder is a small reed area. Birds you may see or hear in the area include Presură de stuf, Lăcar mic, Grelușel de stuf, Gușă vânătă, Pitulice fluierătoare, Corcodel mic, Lăstun de mal, Pitulice mică, Rață cu cap castaniu, Rață mare, Corcodel mare, Lăcar de stuf and Silvie cu cap negru. Also Buhai de baltă is sometimes observed as well as Lăcar mare and Cuc.

Nederlands: De Lutkemeerpolder is een klein rietgebiedje tussen Amsterdam en Halfweg. Vooral rietvogels zijn er in het voorjaar prima te zien en te horen. Vogels die je in het gbied kunt zien of horen zijn onder meer Presură de stuf, Lăcar mic, Grelușel de stuf, Gușă vânătă, Pitulice fluierătoare, Corcodel mic, Lăstun de mal, Pitulice mică, Rață cu cap castaniu, Rață mare, Corcodel mare, Lăcar de stuf en Silvie cu cap negru. Ook Buhai de baltă wordt wel waargenomen evenals de Lăcar mare en Cuc.
Exit Lutkemeer from S106. There is a parking lot at the end of the turning loop. Click on the P in the map for directions. A few paths from the parking lot and possibility of a circular walk (about 1.5 km).
