Description

The Oelemars is a lake on the border between the Netherlands and Germany that was created by sand excavation. The Losser Bird Group maintains this lake. Already 200 bird species have been observed here. From the bird hide on the Grensweg, you have a great view over the lake. In front of the bird hide you can see waders from up close. The Pescăraș albastru is almost guarenteed at this hide..

Nederlands: Een plas op de grens bij Duitsland ontstaan door zandafgraving. De Vogelwerkgroep Losser onderhoud deze plas waar intussen meer dan 200 soorten zijn waargenomen. Vanuit de kijkhut op de Grensweg is de plas goed te overzien met aan de voorkant ruimte voor steltlopers. De IJsvogel is bijna een zekerheidje.
