De Horsten estate is especially interesting because of the forest birds, such as Ghionoaie verde, Ciocănitoare pestriță mică, Grangur and others. On the edge of the forest you can regularly find Șorecar comun and Uliu porumbar, but also a nesting Pescăraș albastru.

Accessible by car. Since 2021 an entrance ticket is not required to enter the area. The park itself is walking only. The circular walk indicated on the map is about 4,5 km long.

Nederlands: Het gebied is goed bereikbaar met de auto. Sinds 2021 is er geen toegangskaartje meer nodig om het gebied te betreden, hiervoor is betaald parkeren in de plaats gekomen. In het gebied kun je alleen wandelen. De rondwandeling die is aangegeven op de kaart is zo'n 4,5 km lang.
