This steppe-like area south of Amerzgane has a few rocky walls and some wadis.
This area doesn't offer much, but is one of the most reliable places to see the Western Mourning Wheatear (Maghreb). Since this species is very mobile even during the breeding season, it is not easy to find here either.
At the intersection in the center of Amerzgane, drive south on P1505 and park the car in a suitable place. From here you walk another 1.5-2km along the road and search both sides of the road for the Western Mourning Wheatear (Maghreb). The small wadis with individual bushes are particularly suitable.
