Stajkovsko Ezero is a lake with some surrounding marshland and reed fields amidst agricultural fields. During migration many birds make a stop here. And year round this a good place to find ducks, herons, grebes and cormorants. Birds you can observe include Rață cârâitoare, Rață roșie, Sfrâncioc roșiatic, Erete de stuf, Prigorie, Piciorong, Becațină comună, Fluierar de mlaștină, Bătăuș, Prundăraș gulerat mic, Cresteț cenușiu, Cormoran mic, Stârc pitic and Lăcar mare.

Access
Stajkovsko Ezero is located about 10 km northeast of Skopje. An unpaved road runs along the eastern bank of the lake. From the nearby village you can walk, cycle or drive to the lake.
