Description
Monospitovo Marsh has a high density of Lăcar mare with good numbers of Lăcar de mlaștină and Stufărică and others warblers should be possible. Also lots of dragonflies and a few Terrapin (turtle) in some of the pools are easy to see. Trail can be hard going in places as the reedbed density gets stronger but overall the landscape is a mix of fields and reedbeds and pools.

Access
Monospitovo Marsh is located south of the village of Monospitovo. Access is North from Bansko or south from Monospitovo on a minor road between the two towns, a track where there is space for 1 or 2 cars, which you then walk east onto the marsh. Allow a good morning to walk along the track and back (5 km one way, 5 km back).
