Rosolina Mare is located on the Adriatic Sea. The lagoon that borders the village is an open area offering a good nesting site. Observations from along the road can be made without disturbance. Among the birds you can encounter are Călifar alb, Flamingo roz, Piciorong, Ciocîntors, Chiră de baltă, Scoicar, Chiră mică, Pescăruș râzător, Stufărică, Pescăruș cu picioare galbene and Fluierar cu picioare roșii.
