Protected coastal dune area of 160 hectares with typical Adriatic coastal habitats.
Oasi WWF Alberoni includes a 160-hectare natural oasis protected by the wwf, which consists of a pine forest and a unique dune environment, with a particular flora and fauna typical of these areas of the adriatic, but a rare environment for the upper Adriatic. You will find pioneer dunes, mobile dunes, consolidated dunes and wet interdune meadows punctuated by expanses of reeds and rushes, marsh helleborines and junipers. Prundăraș de sărătură nests in the summer. Other birds you can encounter are Prigorie, Chiră mică, Caprimulg, Pescăruș rozalb and Scoicar.

Oasi WWF Alberoni is located between the Adriatic Sea and the Venice Lagoon, at the southern end of the Lido of Venice, after the medieval village of Malamocco. The Oasis is easily accessible from the city of Venice, about 30 minutes from Piazza S.Marco. The oasis is open for free visits all year round, but the most suitable periods to enjoy the flowers and observe the birds are spring, early summer and autumn. You can park and then explore the area on foot, or reach it by public transport. Click on the P in the map for directions to the parking. The circular walking route indicated on the map is about 2 km.
