Description

Monte Polo is a hamlet near Urbino, located in a hilly area rich in crops and woods. Very panoramic and with good visibility to observe any flocks of migrating birds such as birds of prey, Cocor and more. Birds you can observe include Acvilă de munte, Șoim călător, Vânturel roșu, Șorecar comun, Șerpar, Ciocănitoare pestriță mare, Silvie cu cap negru, Brumăriță de pădure and Muscar sur.

Monte Polo is located 11 km south of the town of Urbino. Press P on the map for directions. There are several hiking trails in the area around Monte Polo, but you can also view the area from the main road.
