Description
A small lake where in winter you can see over 4,000 diving ducks, especially Rață moțată and Rață cu cap castaniu, but also Rață roșie, Rață cu cap negru, Rață cu ciuf, Buhai de baltă, Pescăruș pontic. A few dabbling ducks are present too. A large roost of Cormoran mare is present and recently Cormoran mic is often here.
In spring Stârc roșu, Stârc pitic and Cormoran mare usually breed here. Papagal Micul Alexandru is common too.
Rarities: Rață cucuiată, Rață jamaicană, Ferestraș mic, Rață de ghețuri, Tundra Bean Goose and Gârliță mare.
