Description
Langness has good seawatch viewpoints north and south. The east coast is rocky and good for Stăncuță de munte, Mierlă gulerată, Ciuf de câmp, Strigă and Mărăcinar negru. The west coast has exposed mud and seaweed-strewn rock at low tide frequented by herons, egrets, Scoicar, Călifar alb, Fugaci de mare, Pietruș and Culic mare. Rarities seen here include Ciocârlie de Bărăgan, Fugaci cu târtiță albă and Turturică.

Access
Isle of Man can be visited by ferry from Liverpoool, Heysham, Belfast or Dublin, or by air from several airports. Car park at Derbyhaven which is on a regular bus route, then short walk across to Langness. Or park on the island near the lighthouse. Be aware there is a golf course; dont obstruct play or become an accidental target.
