Kilberry Bog is a fantastic winter birding area as it has Ciuf de pădure, Strigă and sometimes Ciuf de câmp. It has Șorecar comun, Șoim de iarnă, Uliu păsărar, Vânturel roșu, Șoim călător and Erete vânăt. There are Rață mare, Rață mică, Becațină comună, Becațină mică, Ploier auriu, Nagâț, Prundăraș gulerat mare and occasionally Fluierar de zăvoi. It also has Lebădă de vară and Lebădă de iarnă.

Access
You can access Kilberry Bog by car as far as the edge then walk around. There are several laneways which lead to it and cars can be parked at the roadside so long as you don't block access or gateways. Click on the P in the map for directions.
