Description
Designed to replicate various ecosystems, the National Botanical Garden of Iran features forests, wetlands, and meadows that attract a wide range of bird species. One of the ponds is a good place to see Stârc de noapte, Stârc galben, Pescăraș albastru and Pescăruș râzător. During the spring you can find Uliu șicra, Grangur and different migrating warblers such as Silvie cu cap negru and Frunzăriță cenușie. In the winter, thrushes come to the garden, including Sturz cântător, Sturz cu gușă neagră and Sturzul viilor.

Access
The National Botanical Garden of Iran is situated just a few kilometers west of Tehran, making it easily accessible by metro. To get there, take the Tehran-Karaj Metro and exit at Iran-Khodro Station. From the station, you can either walk for about 35 minutes or take a taxi for a quicker trip. Exploring the entire garden on foot takes approximately 2 to 3 hours, allowing you to fully enjoy its diverse landscapes and rich biodiversity.
