Description
The small Rif wetland is located in the area of Melrakkaslétta on the Snaefellsnes peninsula in northwest Iceland. It is a breeding area for many birds and has an ideal location between the coast and the mountains. Among the birds you can encounter are Cufundar mic, Corcodel de iarnă, Eider, Notatiță, Ferestraș moțat, Gâscă neagră, Lebădă de iarnă, Chiră polară, Prundăraș gulerat mare, Sitar de mal, Fluierar cu picioare roșii, Lup de mare mic, Pescăruș cu aripi albe and Pescăruș de ghețuri.
