Birding on an unpaved road along the Reykjadalsá river near the village of Laugar.
Laugar is a village in the north of Iceland. The quiet Reykjadalsá river flows past the village through a hilly area with some forest. From the unpaved road you can explore the area and observe interesting birds such as Rață arlechin, Rață sunătoare islandeză, Ferestraș moțat, Ploier auriu and Notatiță.
Route 1 runs through Laugar between Akureyri and Reykjahlíð. Click on the P in the map for directions. From the village you can walk or drive in various directions
