Description
The road towards Makara is a great route to search for many typical inland breeding species that inhabit the drier parts of the island, like Potârniche de stâncă asiatică, Pietrar mediteranean and Țiclean de stâncă. The rocky outcrops are a great spot for Mierlă albastră and Presură cu cap sur. The small scattered bushes are good for migrating Mărăcinar mare, Pietrar sur and Mărăcinar negru.
Further down the road, the road lies adjacent to a shallow valley with scattered trees, and several small groves. These areas are great for migrants, like Prigorie, Pupăză, shrikes, warblers, swallows, swifts and flycatchers.
