Description

Just west of Vatera, on the headland, a small chapel is located, called Palia Vigla. The area is fairly wooded, and is a great spot to find species, like Pițigoi de livadă, Ciocănitoare de stejar and especially Silvie mediteraneană.

During autumn migration, the area is also great to watch migrating raptors, like Șerpar, harriers, falcons, buzzards and sometimes eagles.
