Description
Rhodes is a very dry island, smaller birds breed early before vegetation dies back. At Lindos you can find the usual mediterranean versions of swifts, swallows, warblers and Pietrar mediteranean. Birds of prey include Vânturel roșu, Vânturel mic (especially at the acropolis), Ciuș and Șorecar mare. Other birds you can encounter are Stârc galben, Pasărea ogorului, Sfrâncioc cu cap roșu, Rândunică roșcată and Fugaci mic.

Lindos is located on the south-east coast on Rhodes, 40 km south of Rhodes town. You can take a bus or coach from Rhodes town to Lindos.
