Description
At the south of the Mytilini peninsula is Charamida (or Haramida) Marsh. Easy to get to, lots of birds can be found there. In spring it is sometimes difficult to view the pools due to the tall reeds. In autumn the site is dry but still attracts many migrants and Silvie mediteraneană occurs here year-round. Other birds you van observe in the area include Lăstun de stâncă, Muscar sur, Sfrâncioc cu mască, Codroș de munte, Mărăcinar negru, Șoim călător, Țigănuș, Piciorong, Pietrar sur, Rață roșie, Rață cârâitoare, Capîntortură, Potârniche de stâncă asiatică, Frunzăriță cenușie and Presură cu cap sur.
