Description
Just southwest of Parakila, the Agios Ioannis chapel is located. The chapel lies within a scrubby and rocky gulley, and provides a great breeding habitat for species like Privighetoare roșcată, Pițigoi de livadă, Presură cu cap sur and, especially, Presură cu cap galben. This last species can be found on the higher parts of the area.
The ridges above the gulley are good for (sometimes small flocks of) falcons, like Șoim mediteranean, Vânturel mic and Vânturel de seară.
