Description
The Wolfsmeer is a small moor lake within the wider Veenhuser Königsmoor, a landscape shaped by peat extraction, drainage, and later regeneration. The area includes smaller wooded areas. Many migratory birds frequent the moorland, and occasionally birds of prey also pass by. Among others, the following birds can be observed here: Șorecar comun, Gâscă de vară, Gâscă canadiană, and Barză albă.

Access
The Wolfsmeer is located northeast of the town of Leer. The area is easily accessible by car or bicycle via well-maintained roads. Parking is available along the roadside. Press P on the map for directions. The area itself can be explored on foot and, in some parts, by bicycle.
