Description
Salzwiesen Bülk is an area of rewetted meadows. In the open area, hundreds of geese such as Gâscă de vară, Gâscă canadiană and ducks such as Rață pestriță, Rață lingurar and Rață fluierătoare can be seen, especially during migration. There are also a variety of waders, such as Becațină comună and Ploier auriu.
The road and footpath lead directly past the area and offer good observation opportunities. At the end of the road is the Bülk lighthouse. Other waders can be seen on the beach, for example the Pietruș and Fugaci de mare. Rare, exceptional sightings are also possible, such as the Eastern Yellow Wagtail, which is very rare in Germany.

The wet meadows of Salzwiesen Bülk are located between the village of Strande and the Bülk lighthouse. You can reach the area via the road that leads to the Bülk lighthouse or the footpath from Strande. Press P on the map for directions to a parking.
