You can walk directly at the river bank. You can see wintering or migrating ducks like Ferestraș mare, Rață lingurar and Rață mică. On the gravel banks, migrating waders like Fluierar de munte and Fluierar cu picioare verzi are possible. Prundăraș gulerat mic , Gaie neagră , Pescăraș albastru and Papagal Micul Alexandru are breeding birds.
The whole year, you can watch gulls like Pescăruș cu picioare galbene and Pescăruș argintiu. With luck, you may find Pescăruș cu cap negru, Pescăruș negricios and Pescăruș pontic (regular in winter).
