Pudersbach is surrounded by the wide green spaces of the Westerwald. It's a wooded area with large open spaces and fields. You can see various birds of prey like Vânturel roșu, Uliu păsărar, Gaie roșie and owls like Buhă and Huhurez mic. The area is also rich in different songbirds. Among the birds you can see are Pițigoi de munte, Pițigoi sur, Pițigoi de brădet, Aușel sprâncenat, Scatiu, Pițigoi codat, Ciocănitoare de stejar, Ciocănitoare neagră, Țiclean, Privighetoare roșcată, Codroș de pădure, Forfecuță, Sticlete and Mugurar.

The best way to explore the area is by foot or by bike. Parking is available both inside and outside the town. The circular route that is shown on the map is 5,5 km long.
