Description

The Polder Bramel is a perfect habitat for waders, waterfowl and meadow birds. It is an important resting area and wintering area for migratory birds. Bird species that can be seen here include Codalb, Uligan pescar, Gușă vânătă, Lopătar and Pescăraș albastru. The groups of resting geese, swans and ducks during the cold winter months are quite considerable. With a bit of perseverance and a bit of luck, rare species such as Pescăriță mare, Chirighiță cu obraz alb, Chirighiță cu aripi albe and Piciorong can be spotted. Rare birds have also been documented here. These include Notatiță americană, Fugaciul lui Baird and Stârc de noapte.
