Description
In the beginning of Ehemalige Rieselfelder Werne you pass a tiny forest, where you can find Ochiuboului, Ciocănitoare pestriță mare and Ghionoaie verde and some other forest species. In the winter you can see Egretă mare, Gârliță mare and sometimes even a Tundra Bean Goose. The biggest part of the area are fields that sometimes hold water. These fields are fenced, wich is good for Mărăcinar mare and Mărăcinar negru. In the fields you can see Fâsă de luncă and Codobatură galbenă you can watch even in the summer.

You have to park at the cemetery. Click on the P in the map for directions. From the parking you can go into a small path, where you first see a tiny forest and then the fields

How good the area is for birding depends on how much water there is. If there is much water, it is good, if there is no water, you nearly see nothing. In 2016 Egretă mică and in 2015 a Western Yellow Wagtail was recorded.
