Dingdener/Büngener Heide is a so called 'Feuchtwiesenschutzgebiet', an area where meadow birds get special protection. There are two observation hides and you can see birds like: Culic mare, Ciocârlie, Mărăcinar negru, Presură de stuf, Gușă vânătă, Barză albă, Gaie roșie, Uliu porumbar, Uliu păsărar, Fâsă de luncă and Nagâț.
