Abtskücher Teich is a lake with surrounding bushes. The pond and stream provide a good environment for various waterfowl and water-loving birds. You can see Pescăraș albastru, Cormoran mare, Stârc cenușiu, Lebădă de vară, Ciocănitoare pestriță mare, Rață mare and Lișiță. Also Nutrias live here. In the surrounding fields, you can also see Aușel sprâncenat, Aușel cu cap galben, Vrabie de casă, Uliu porumbar and Șorecar comun.

The Abtskücher Teich is located 3 km west of the town of Velbert. Parking lots are nearby. Press P on the map for directions to a parking. There is a footpath around the pond (about 1 km).
