Description
Kochebi Lake is a remnant of the Caspian Sea located on 800 meters above sea level. It is a shallow lake of brackish water, surrounded by meadows, fields and a small forest. More than 150 bird species have been observed in the area. Birds you can observe include Călifar roșu, Piciorong, Prundăraș gulerat mic, Fluierar de munte, Fluierar de zăvoi, Fluierar de mlaștină, Bătăuș, Corcodel cu gât negru, Prigorie, Dumbrăveancă, Sfrâncioc roșiatic, Ciocârlie de Bărăgan, Presură cu cap negru, Presură sură, Vrabie de stâncă, Șorecar mare, Erete de stuf, Erete vânăt and Erete sur.

Access
Kochebi Lake is located about 4 km east of Dedoplitzskaro and is best accessed by car or bicycle. There is an unpaved road in the west and north of the lake. Press P on the map for directions.
