Large prairie area near the village of Varennes-le-Grand where many species of grassland birds such as Culic mare, Mărăcinar mare, Presură sură and Codobatură galbenă are found. In these grasslands the Cristel de câmp is a regular breeder. During wet periods, the grasslands can become flooded, which attracts many migrating birds and waders.
