Circular walk of approximately 5 km through slope forest along the reservoir in the river Le Thaurion.
Talamy Thaurion Valley has a beautiful varied landscape. Not large numbers of birds but definitely worth a visit and a nice walk. Among the birds you can encounter are Ciocănitoare neagră, Mugurar, Pescăraș albastru, Sfrâncioc roșiatic, Caprimulg, Turturică, Pescărel negru, Gaie roșie, Corb and Codobatură de munte.

Talamy Thaurion Valley is located immediately north of the village of Châtelus-le-Marcheix. It is best to get there by car, there is a good place to park along the road. Click on the P in the map for directions. The circular walk is 5 km and can only be done on foot.
