Description
In a traditional countryside of pastures filled with flowers and woodland, around 900 m high, a wide variety of passerines can be seen relatively easily. Sfrâncioc roșiatic , Ciocârlie de pădure , Mărăcinar negru are everywhere, Codroș de pădure and Cânepar are around the villages, and Pietrar sur on stone walls. Some Mărăcinar mare can still be found in marshy grassland, and raptors are frequent ( Gaie roșie , Erete sur , Șerpar)
But the main species here are Sfrâncioc mare which tend to be rare nowadays, and Vrabie de stâncă who are nesting in few numbers.

From Saint Bonnet-le-Chateau go to Usson-en-Forez, cross the village direction Craponne-sur-Arzon, and look for the signpost "Jouanzeq". from here there is no very convenient way to park but a car can be parked along the road.
