Plan d'eau de la Ville Saint Jacques holds a colony of Pescăruș râzător and Pescăruș cu cap negru. Rață cu ciuf are usually very numerous and breed here, as do Rață moțată. Flocks of Rață cu cap castaniu and Rață moțată may attract the rare Rață roșie. Corcodel cu gât negru are very regular. Waders make regularly stopovers on the lakes shores. Even Fluierar de lac has been seen here.

Access
Easy accessible by car. After parking you can explore the area on foot. Park at the start of the path on the western part of the lake, and follow it on it's southern shore. It is quite dangerous to park elsewhere along the D606. Click on the P in the map to get directions to the parking.
