Description
Parc du Sausset is a very good place to bird for a few hours if you are stuck in Paris! It is home to a few heritage species: Buhai de baltă (winter), Stârc pitic (breeder), Becațină comună and Becațină mică (winter), Ciocănitoare neagră and Prundăraș gulerat mic (breeder), Gușă vânătă and Viespar (migration). The park is also a good place for entomologists and botanists.

Access
Take the RER B towards Charles de Gaulle Airport and get of at Villepinte. A free parking is in the front of the park. Click on the P in the map to get directions.

For more info on the park you can visit the Maison du Parc (House of the Park) which is open from 14.00 to 17.00 in winter and from 14.00 to 18.30 in summer.
