Description
Marais du Douhet is particularly interesting because it brings together a great diversity of species, sometimes in high density and at all times of the year.
Among the nesting birds are the Fluierar cu picioare roșii, the Piciorong, the Stufărică, the Stufărică pătată, the Vânturel roșu or the Călifar alb. During migration, the Notatiță cu cioc lat or the Codroș de munte are passing through. In winter, Gâscă neagră, Ploier auriu and Nagâț are stationed on the site.
All year round shorebirds, ducks, gulls, herons, grebes and many others are present.

The site is accessible by car or bicycle or to be visited on foot. Possibility to park at the port of Douhet or in a car park (see map).
