Marais de Fretin is a nice wetland with a great variety of birds. Among the birds you can encounter in the area are Cormoran mare , Stârc cenușiu , Stârc de cireadă , Corcodel mic , Corcodel mare, and if you are lucky you can even observe Pescăraș albastru and many other species.

Marais de Fretin is located southeast of the city of Lille. You can park in the village of Fretin and explore the wetland from there on foot. Press P in the map for directions to the parking. The circular walk around the wetland is about 2 km.
