Les Marais d'Itteville is located between the rivers Juine and Essonne, just north of the village of Itteville. The marshes are classified as a Natura 2000 area. From the trails or observatories one can commonly observe many species of nesting birds. For example Pescăraș albastru, Corcodel mare , Corcodel mic , Rață lingurar , Rață pestriță Rață mare , Lebădă de vară , Gâscă canadiană , Stufărică and more rarely Uligan pescar , Egretă mare , Egretă mică , Cârstel de baltă and Stârc roșu.
