Description
It was at the Ravoir lake, that the Osprey returned spontaneously to nest in the early 1980s. Since the first successful breeding in 1985, the population has continued to increase. Étang du Ravoir now has a fine observatory to observe the Uligan pescar nesting. It is the only French site where one can observe the nesting of a couple of Uligan pescar without disturbing it. From early April to the end of August, during the nesting season, there are volunteers on weekends, to welcome the public. Other birds you can see in the area are Ciocănitoare pestriță mică, Ciocănitoare neagră, Șerpar, Viespar and Corcodel mare.

Français: C’est en Forêt domaniale d’Orléans, à l’étang du Ravoir (Ouzouer-sur-Loire, 45), que le Balbuzard est revenu spontanément nicher au début des années 1980. Depuis la première reproduction réussie en 1985, la population n’a cessé d’augmenter. Le noyau le plus important se trouve dans le Loiret, avec une trentaine de couples recensés en 2018. Observatoire afin d'observer le Balbuzard pêcheur de nicher. Aujourd’hui, l’observatoire du Ravoir constitue l’unique site français où l’on peut observer la nidification d’un couple de balbuzards sans le déranger. Du début avril à la fin août, les visiteurs y sont accueillis par des animateurs de LNE tous les dimanches, de 15 h à 19 h. A la saison de nidification, présence de bénévoles le weekend notamment afin d'accueillir le public
