Description
Etang David is a place filled with bush birds, especially in springtime: Silvie cu cap negru, Privighetoare roșcată, Turturică are easy to find, as well as Pescăraș albastru and Rață cu ciuf on the pond. Woodpeckers can be found on deciduous trees: Ciocănitoare pestriță mare, Ciocănitoare pestriță mică, Ghionoaie verde, Ciocănitoare neagră.
The place is also a nesting area for herons: Stârc de noapte, Stârc cenușiu, Stârc de cireadă can be spotted from the pond side.
Some raptors: Gaie neagră, Șoimul rândunelelor and with chance Gaie roșie and Șerpar are easy to spot hunting around.
Unusual birds like Boicuș are possible during a walk across this picturesque little place.

From St Just St Rambert Follow the direction "Chambles". After the lights, turn right to the signposted road "Etang David", unitl the; car park. The entrance of the site is across the raos along the canal
